Oh, hello there, dear! Welcome to Kitsch'nware, your space-age
solution to the age-old question: 'What's for dinner?'
Use my ultramodern, vacuum tube powered, room-sized computing machines
to help you manage your pantry, and I'll tell you what fresh,
home-cooked meals you can make with what you have on hand. If you're missing a few things, I'll
add them to your shopping list, and into your pantry when you get them. Once you make a recipe,
I'll deduct the ingredients from your pantry. I can help you scale recipes to the right size, convert
units for you, warn you when you're getting low on something (and add it to your shopping list),
and let you know when an item in your pantry is about to expire. You can enter
your own recipes (and share them), or use ours--it's easy!
If you belong to a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture--fancy
talk for 'local farm'), I can automatically import the items you'll be receiving
and add them to your pantry. Then in a snap you can find out what sort of recipes you can make with
Jerusalem artichokes, garlic scapes, shiitake mushrooms, chard, baby bok choy, or whatever you
get that you have no idea what to do with!
No time to cook, you say? What if you had a personal assistant to help you with all the really
tedious parts--figuring out what to make, what to buy, and how to use up what you have on hand already?
Suddenly you're free to focus on the fun, healthy, and money-saving part: cooking at home!
